So the above map is something I did using paint and google maps. The purple stars are the gas stations in 2004. at this time the highway was built as it is today so not much changed there. The red star is were I if I remember right the party was if not its just the opposite side of the road and not much change. As you can see you have 152 which is all paved, and the three gas stations are just off 152. the two in town may have been closed after midnight around 2004 but the one on the other side of the highway was placed there primarily for truckers and people coming off work from the powerplant. In order for Justin to get lost going to get cigarettes, he would have had to turn off from 152 outside of town rather than go straight to the gas station. The Gas station in the center of town is a Co-op and mostly used by farmers, they wouldnt have had Cigs. The one on the far left was the Casy's location at the time (they have since moved.) (if the Ciggerate story is something that has just been confuddled or a rumor over the passing years there needs to be a clear up of that.)

The cigarette story does seem suspicious to locals, raising eyebrows and prompting questions. While some aspects may add up, others seem a bit too convenient. It's like a puzzle with missing pieces. Locals, accustomed to their surroundings, are quick to notice discrepancies. They've seen their fair share of tall tales and urban legends. However, this particular story seems to push the boundaries of believability. You should like it or not, skepticism prevails. Perhaps further investigation or clarification is needed to put the pieces together. It's the kind of story that could generate buzz on a blog, sparking discussions and debates among readers eager to dissect its every detail.
Hello good, get two theories, if Justin when he went out to buy cigarettes knowing the place where the party was, he would know that the gas stations that were in the center of the city would be closer to him but and if he went to the right, that It makes me very suspicious because in itself I would already know which one was closer to him, also there are no witnesses who say they saw him there, now the second theory that Justin did not know the place and asked his friends for directions and they would give it to him wrong, giving as an indication to go to the farthest gas station. greetings from Mexico
In the Unsolved Mysteries episode, Justin stated he turned right out of the driveway. That would have been onto 152 Highway. If he stayed on 152, he would have came to US 69. If he turned North on "old 69" driving past Linn Valley. If he left after 11pm, the only places close enough that may have been open at that time, would have been Pete's in Pleasanton or the Philips 66 Station at the Louisburg exit. He stated in the show, he was about 30 minutes north of the party when he got stuck and decided to go home. If he was 30 minutes north of there, he would have been near Louisburg or Paola. The truck stop at the La Cygne exit may or may not have been in business at the time. My questions are: Where did he think he was going to get smokes? Where did he get his car stuck and how did he get his car unstuck? Did someone help him get unstuck? What cell phone did he have to call back to the party? Even today, my cell coverage is limited near there. Next question, if the person he called was at the party, with loud music and people talking, how did the person know he was being called?
