    New Murder | Same Incompetence

    in General Discussions

My mother, Dawn Marie Rosso, was murdered in Mound City, Kansas on 6/6/2020

The murder is being investigated by the Linn County Sheriffs department. My mother indicated to two neighbors that she felt that her life was in imminent danger & that she did not think that the Sheriffs Department would help her. She left her dog with a neighbor before returning home to die. She protected the dog better than they did her. She had been in contact with the FBI regarding the Alonzo Brooks case, she believed the Sheriffs Office was involved with the coverup (Freezing his body). She can not get a fair trial anywhere near Linn County. Anyone that has ANY information about any of the failures within Linn County, Kansas please contact me or the Kansas Attorney Generals Office. I desperately need help getting this case removed from theirg jurisdiction. vemccabe@gmail.com

The Linn Country Paper was mentioning this murder. If you think the sheriff was involved James Brun would be your best ally in Linn County. He is the county Attorney and though he said some choice words about the county he also was most likely outed for those things because he stood up to Paul Filla as sheriff because Filla had a drug out guy handcuffed to a bench for (i think it was over a day been trying to find the article). The handcuffed man died because of it. But if you think its police corruption Brun has shown he is not afraid to stand up to the police. 2004 as well as today i think Linn County police is not the best at investigating murder. Murder does not happen often in Linn County and i seriously doubt they have the proper equipment, and at the very least (do to lack of exposure) skills. (this isnt KCK or KCMO, not a homicide squad in sight.)
